How can I book you?
That's easy! By now you've reviewed my samples and demos, so just click one of the email or phone links and get in touch. Or set up a meeting if you'd prefer. I'll ask a few questions about your project, it's usage, it's length, if you'd like to patch in, and when you need it, and we're off and running!

Voice over can be pricey. What are your rates?
I'll bet you already have a budget in mind. Great, let's talk! If you're unsure, ask for my rate card. GVAA and Gravy for the Brain can give you a bit of guidance as well. Let's work together to establish something that fits for everyone based on the runtime and usage of the audio.  Here's a hot tip: you'll pay more booking talent on a casting site like Voices.com or Fiverr because you have to pay for the talent AND the platform. Save some cash and go direct!

Will you do a custom audition?

I'd be happy to! Assuring your confidence in selecting me is important. Please provide a brief sample and let me know the tone and style you need. You can send the script to BarbLyonVO@Gmail.com. I'll send you my audition in a jiff!
 

How quickly will you turn work around?

Overall, I strive to deliver within 24-48 hours.  However, long form projects, like eLearning and video sales letters gobble up the clock, making scheduling interesting.  Let's discuss your needs and set a delivery date that works for you without stressing over deadlines. How will you deliver the Project?

Most voice overs are small enough that they can be emailed. But if your piece is longer or larger, maybe because you need a 24 bit file, I'll use a file sharing service. If you have security concerns, I can upload to your secure server. Just tell me if you have any specific needs.
 

Can I coach the project to make sure the read is just so?

Yes, please, and thank you! I just love getting live direction. There's nothing like collaboration to bring your vision to life! We can use SourceConnect (my handle is grumpydingo), any of the video collaboration platforms (Zoom will allow playback), or even a simple phone patch (630-492-1312) and there's never an additional charge.
 

How do you handle pickups?

It's not unusual to need a line or two replaced because of a word change or shift in tone. I'm happy to include your first pickup session in the quoted price. However, for full re-records or additional pickups beyond the first, charges will apply. Its best to have your stakeholders review the voice over a few times before requesting your changes.
 

How can I Pay you?
I appreciate your prompt payment!  I invoice once a project is complete, or monthly if you request it. Terms are generally Net 30. You can always tap the PayPal link at the bottom of my Home Page in the "Contact" window, or use Stripe to send funds to BarbLyonVO@GMail.com. My physical address is on the footer if you'd rather send a check.  If you prefer bank transfer, let me know and we'll work out all the banking details.
